I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the new and exciting 2021-2022 school year at West Homestead K-8 Center. I am Dr. Earl Burth, the proud principal and “Happy to be Mustang!” We will continue what we started last year with wonderful things happening with our students, parents, faculty, staff and the community. We must stay focused and be united to help each child to achieve. The theme for this school year is:

I challenge and encourage you to motivate, inspire and make a difference in our students lives. As we embark upon the new school year, we want to start off strong so we can finish strong! Our focus is to meet the individual needs of our students and raise their academic achievement and make them lifelong learners. There is no “I” in TEAM. I cannot do it alone, but together we can!!!
I am confident that teachers at West Homestead K-8 Center are hardworking and committed to improving students' overall achievement to ensure they are prepared to succeed in life.
